Tim Cook Confirms More Apple Stores Coming To India In 2025
Apple has announced that phase two of its retail expansion in India will begin later this year, with four new stores set to open, adding to its existing two locations. This move aims to deepen Apple’s presence in one of its fastest-growing markets and provide more customers with hands-on access to its full product range, including iPhones, Macs, iPads, and Apple Watches.
Apple is gearing up to open new retail stores in Pune, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, with hiring already underway earlier this year, though exact locations have not been officially disclosed.
For the unversed, Apple began its retail journey in India with the launch of its online store in 2020, followed by the Apple Store app’s India edition in January 2024. Physical retail debuted in April 2023 with flagship stores in Mumbai (BKC) and Delhi (Saket), which Apple says have seen a phenomenal customer response.
“We achieved several quarterly records across various countries and regions, including India,” said Tim Cook. “On the retail front, alongside the two stores we launched this quarter, we’re excited about opening a new store in the UAE, launching our online store in Saudi Arabia, and expanding further in India with new retail stores set to open later this year.”
