Course Overview

This 8-hour certificate course, Practitioners Certificate in Configuration Management Database for ITAM & IT Ops Professionals, equips participants with practical knowledge to implement, manage, and govern a CMDB in modern IT environments.

Divided into four sessions, the course covers foundational concepts, architecture, integration strategies, data quality management, and real-world use cases. Learners explore how CMDBs support ITAM, ITSM, and cybersecurity, with theory classes, hands-on activities and governance frameworks. By the end, participants will be able to design effective CMDB models, ensure data accuracy, and align CMDB practices with compliance, risk, and service management objectives—earning certification as a CMDB Practitioner.

Also, this course is independent of any specific ITAM tool, thus ensuring that the student can adapt to any tool that is deployed in their organization.
